WoW patch 1.9 is today!

Is it going REALLY slow for you guys ? Like 2MB in 5 minutes ? I'm assuming it's because EVERYONE has to grab it also...

Any mirrors ?

EDIT>>> Got it in about 25 minutes... it picked up speed as I got more of it.. the way torrents work.
 
Installed... after I load WoW again, and login to my account... it used to bring me to my char screen to Enter World. This time it brings me to the Realm selection screen as if I don't have any chars.

What's going on ? Does this happen after every patch ?

I can't even see the list of realms anymore to continue. It sits at the Realm Selection screen with the okay button grayed out and no realms.

A number of the concerns expressed in this thread are indeed valid, and I've seen similar points made concerning the eight-piece transcendence armor bonus. Although we do prefer that such feedback is presented as a discussion rather than in petition format, I will comment with our thoughts on the matter.

In its current state, we're fully aware that Greater Heal isn't used in many situations by most players, with or without the Master Healer talent. As a result, making improvements to Greater Heal (either the core spell or associated talents) so that it is a viable healing option for players in groups and raids will be a point of focus for us during the upcoming Priest spell/talent review currently slated for patch 1.10.

I realize that the only truly satisfying answer many of you feel you'll accept is that we're adding a new rank of Flash Heal, but unfortunately, that is very unlikely to occur in the near future. The new spells (for all classes) were chosen with a considerable amount of care and consideration, and we feel that once the improvements to the Priest have been presented, many of you will be pleased with the new rank of Greater Heal.

Ahh, I did find the regular maintenance window.... Tuesdays till 2pm ET. But they're not really keeping this realm status page updated are they...

bluesnews.com has a posting with a variety of sites that the patch can be downloaded from directly. I'll be using 3dgamers.com this afternoon when I get home to get the patch. Forget the Blizzard downloader...
