ok its after 5 now this is starting to piss me off

W00t! I love it when the servers are down all day. That way, I don't feel like I'm 2 weeks behind when I log on after work.

Who says Blizzard doesn't like the casual players? 😛

wait once question. If the servers are down, will blizz refund us one day? I think the answer is no but just to make sure. I just got addicted to wow, and so far, have played 5 days out of 14.
( when I type /played it says 5 days 59 minutes) I really want to grind for another couple of hours today. What will I do if i don't have my helping of wow today?

Blizzard used to hand out refunds all the time for server problems, but since Tuesdays are known to be maintenance days, and this is a pretty significant patch, they probably won't.

It's interesting to note that we have approximately 10-15% downtime each month. Name another area where that much downtime is acceptable. And that doesn't even go into the 2+ hour queues 5 days/week.

Downtime is unnaceptable, however if you are on a full server...switch?

What do you mean 5 our of 14? Are you playing the trial version? If yes, then the trial is for either 10 or 14 "Real" days, not gameplay days.

The downtime is ridiculous. I'm going to assume they are still down. I applied the update but I cannot login. When I try it dumps me to a screen that wants to choose a realm for me but shows none. I'd say they need to fire some techs and hire some that know how to fix things correctly.

Fair enough. The problem right now is that the entire guild would need to switch. In addition to that, many servers seem to fill up anyway, so switching is only a temporary fix.

Yeah seriously, it shouldn't take so long to apply a patch, unless they're having some technical difficulties, and they shouldn't. Their test realms were working for almost a month.

at least they coud put some info up on teh login page saying something like "WE ARE MORONS WE FVCKED UP AND ITLL TAKE LONGER" or something like that

I read somewhere (and it's in the EULA, I'm just too lazy to check..), that it says something to the effect that unexpected maintenance is to be... expected. And that you won't get your zeny back for missed days.

Extended maintenance means I don't miss anything though, so it's not too bad for me.

I mean that I have played 14 days total. In those 14 days, I have logged 5 days of playing time. So 5 times 24 is around 100 hours of playing time in those 14 days.

Holy cr@p!! I think I hit the 6-day playtime after 2 months of playing, and I though that was a lot!

I think I have like ~42 days or so.

Damnit I still cant get on...this sucks. Even the forums at wow are barely working for me. I have to refresh multiple times to get them to load...

/edit PS...Can anyone log onto the test realms? I was hoping to goof around on there while I wait, but keep getting an error.
