Went by the local Office Depot today to find an extremely large mousepad - 11.5 x 12.5 the pad is very thin, flexible and has a non-slip surface on the back.

ok... it ins't one of the professional gamer models, but for an off-the-shelf mouse pad it is excellent. I bought it and compared it to my other "optical" mouse pad and the mouse was able to glide over the pad more easily... and I certainly won't run out of pad anymore (not that it usually happens). The website for these guys is www.microthin.com - seems like they are more geared toward getting companies to use their pads... but check em out.
