Reports indicate he was on a list of possible suspects a long time ago, yet they were never able to solve it. Apparently in the last package he mailed to the local TV station a couple weeks back, he included a CDROM. Apparently they were able to extract hidden information from the CDROM which pointed it him. Anyway, he screwed up and it cost him.

CNN changed their story to say that the Daughter was NOT directly involved, but somehow got DNA from her, apparently without her even knowing. Maybe they went through the Daughters garbage and found hair or a used femine product... if you know what I mean.
 
Wow that guy's a bastard . . . if he is guilty of the crime.

Nice of you guys to automatically assume guilt even though he's just a suspect at this point. :roll:

He already CONFESSED to at least seven of the murders. I guess a confession from the guy means he's innocent. Nice logic.

..a somewhat pillar of local society turns out to be a stealthy killer of women and children. And has a family of his own. The how/why of this story is going to be intresting. News indicates he has confessed to atleast 6 murders..can't help but think twice about people now a days..I'am always suspicious of overtly excessivly bubbly warm/fuzzy friendly people that smother others with their emotional excess..like this guy may have.
 
it is all over the local news here. he basically wanted to get caught. he had been silent for many many years (since 1986 i think) and just recently started sending letters/giving the police new clues. if he hadn't wanted to get caught, all he had to do was keep it to himself until he died.
i think he got bored and decided he was old enough that getting caugth/put in prison wasn't a big deal since he is old now. he is a psychotic and wants the attention that getting caught and having a trial will generate
