cant really be a crappy guild if they managed to kill ragnaros. they may be stupid (for letting him come), but probably not crappy.

and then the people in charge of the game did what?

If you let somebody ninja loot 'cause you're too stupid to set ML or have enough bag space for the raid, you and your group deserved to have all your loot ninja looted.

yes please explain what the hell was going on in the video.

Nothing to do with WoW specifically, can't remember when it first came up, but basically mobs drop loot, you can setup your group to rotate who gets that loot, or to roll dice to see who wins that loot, or just whoever gets there first gets it. If you take the latter approach, usually it's because you have your own system for deciding who gets it, but if someone runs in and steals the loot when they're not supposed to or it's not their turn, then they "ninja looted", as in snuck in like a ninja and looted.

cool thanks 🙂

I don't get how people let others ninja loot items.

As long as its either Master Looter, or you set the items to uncommon (green items) there is no way for an item to be ninja'd...with the exception that a person rolled on an item he/she shouldn't have.

Other than that, no person can just go in and snatch items from mobs.

They should call it "Bilbo looting," 'twould be more accurate.

Whenever anyone in party/raid loots a corpse, and it has a green/blue/purple whatever item, everyone gets a roll box on their screen, regardless of who looted corpse.
