wow, my video card sucks at ocing

HAHAHHHA my ram overclocks to a whopping 315mhz from 310 stock. anything higher artifacts. btw, this is on a powercolor 9700pro
 
I think you guys are being to hard on him.

I always expect a decent OC, but it sucks if it doesn't. In your case, it sucks. It's a chance you take.
 
I don't care much for oc'ing my video card, i've gotten mine upto (whatever my sig says) from 475/906 stock, and the performance increase is nothing to brag about. It is fun though 🙂

On to the subject now.

I've had 5 different 9700 Pro's, the ram is already clocked close to the maximum and never produced a huge overclock on any of them. 350 was the fastest, but they averaged 320-325 for the most part.

Well when I used ATI Tool to find my max core and mem freq's, the core only went about 5mhz higher than default and the mem actually went about 3mhz lower so I guess I'm worse off than you. I have a BBA 9800pro sofmodded to xt. I'm have the DD Maze4 gpu block and OCZ copper bga ramsinks installed.
