Actually, from reading over at AVS, seems that the Toshibas are notorious for quick dying bulbs....

The firefly lifespan of the bulb, the main reason why I haven't put down $$ for a samsung DLP yet.

It's insane that bulbs cost that much (1/4 - 1/6 of the TV!) and you have to replace them ever so often. Plasma > DLP![]()
