Went to Costco today, and I found out, as of now they do NOT sell ketchup, separate from mustard and relish. They used to sell those two pack bottles of organic ketchup, but now they only have the small ketchup bottles, with a mustard, and relish.

Organic "catsup", Phfffft!

http://www.diffen.com/difference/Catsup_vs_Ketchup

Real men eat rotten tomatoes too nasty to sell in the produce department squished together with genetically modified corn syrup in it and blood salt from the slave pit salt mines in Africa.

Plus, Albertson's keeps running specials on "ketchup" for 25 cents a bottle. I doubt the pricey Costco 2 packs can compete with that.

OP I think you are somehow caught in a big shell game. We were just at Costco and ketchup was on the list.

Costco does play hide and seek with items at times. I know I have to check 3 locations for their Tony Roma ribs.

Here Costco sells 3-packs of 44oz. 'Simply Heinz', the stuff with real sugar instead of hfcs, for ~$6.50. Just bought some the other day.

I'm sure you brought the proper documentation that allowed you to purchase your sugary red condiment.

Costco does funky shit with their inventory. A couple years ago we found they carried 3 packs of Coleman Hotdogs, which happen to have no nitrates/nitrites in them. Then last year they didn't have any and we were told they were no longer carrying them. Then just last month we were walking through and there they were, so we grabbed a pack. Last week we went for our grocery run, and *poof*, gone. I doubt we'll see them again this year.

Same thing with the Kirkland Apple-Peach-Passion Fruit juice I loved so much. They simply don't carry that stuff anymore. I check every single time we go, but it hasn't been on the shelf for years now.

This is a crisis = opportunity situation for you.

Earlier this year, Whataburger started packaging its spicy ketchup in bottles for sale in supermarkets. I've only seen it in HEB, but maybe others too. I've tried to replicate it by mixing regular ketchup with various pepper oils, but can't get close enough. That stuff is amazing. Probably time for you to make the change. Ordinarily I'm not even a big ketchup guy, except with fries, but now any other ketchup is just missing something.
