It's a POS.. And it literally looks like they glued a camcorder and a digital camera together.. Ick.. For the money I'd get panasonic's new 3ccd camcorder ($800!) and a canon digicam.

My first digicam was a Samsung. It was ok for a first camera, but I haven't heard the greatest things about Samsung cameras (although my dad had a great film camera by them for years.) Still, at that price, you'd hope they have decent optics and quality.

I paid less for my Sony DCR-TRV38 MiniDV and Canon A70 digicam.

My friend got this camcorder yesterday... the plan was go in there and spend around $700... the dumbass goes on impulse and goes with what he thinks is pretty... he doesn't even know what the hell bluetooth is yet he buys it. He goes all out and was probably the salesmans dream... 5 year warranty... an overpriced 128mb memory stick... extra battery... micromvs... geez... he ends up spending $2275. What a spoiled prick... oh and his parents bought him a G35 a couple of months ago. Yes i'm envious. :frown:
