Yeah, that was my old test account - I tried to set it to Christopher Columbus, but 1492 wouldn't work. Oddly, July 20, 1969 became Dec 1969.

At 00:37:33 UTC on July 21, 2069, the Unix time will represent the first 10 digits of pi, 3141592653. (This coincides with the 100th anniversary of the first manned Moon landing, occurring between the times of touchdown and the first moon walk.)

I bet you'd be surprised by how many people frequent AnandTech's forums that don't feel the need to post anything.

I'm pretty sure I've been visiting this site longer than most. IIRC, I first found AT while searching for a review of the Voodoo 2. I was lusting after a video card with which to play Starsiege, which was in beta at the time. A quick check of the archives pegs that time around June of 1998. I've read almost all of Anand's reviews and previews of major architectures (CPU, GPU and HDD) ever since then.

In fact, I only registered for the forums when they made ATLR members-only and curiosity got the better of me.

Turns out I wasn't missing much.
