WOW - just went thru my hotmail and unsubscribed from 67 mailing lists

How the hell did I get on these in the first place? I dont subscribe to pr0n sites, and rarely do i sign up for any news letters. man I hate spam.

a lot of times...unsubscribing just helps spammers verify that ur account works. be prepared to continue being bombarded with junk mail.

what i really get a kick out of, is spam that has the disclaimer at the bottom: "blah blah, not spam because you can unsubscribe", but the majorit of the time, unsubscribing is more like verifing :-/

Yep, you've just confirmed to the spammers that there's an person who click on and looks at spam behind that e-mail address. Have fun!
