Walked into my morning statistics class today and realized that there was a mid-term that I had absolutely no idea about, and therefore hasn't studied for. I gave a blank paper back to the professor and asked to meet him at his office hours. Damn, I hope he lets me take it over in a couple days or something. Sh!t, I feel like a retard.

UPDATE: I got an A- on the make-up test.
 
It was always a mystery to me how people forget about things like these. Did you ever go to class?
 
I've never had a prof that was willing to change a midterm date. Good luck, though, I hope the guy likes you enough to make arrangements with you.

I've done it myself. Nothing like the prof handing you your test with goose egg on it. 🙁
 
I use to forget about sh1t all the time. . .

I have a big a§§ dry erase whiteboard. . .I call it my secretary as it keeps track of all my appointments, finances, etc. . . very nice investment. 😉
 
I've done that for a freshman level chemistry class. Not only did I forget about midterm and not study for it, and I didn't even plan on showing to the class. I remembered about it 20 minutes before the end of the class, when I started wondering where all my freshman friends were.

Luckily I took AP chemistry in high school so I knew all that stuff and ended up getting 90 on the exam.

i don't go to much class, and have to be quite on the ball to make sure this sorta thing doesnt happen 😛

I went to class on Friday. I checked. I have notes dated 2005-4-17. I don't ever remember hearing anything about the test at ALL.
 
I've done it too. I didn't even try to talk to the prof, I knew she would just tell me to go to hell.
 
I have nightmares about that during the filnals... never really happened, although I have slept through some exams in the past 😱
 
I go to all of my classes. I thought going to class in college was supposed to be a choice. Now my fvcking professors take attendance and missing class will negatively effect your grade.
 
A friend of mine did this for a calc test, he blindly guessed his way to a 10%! Good Work Mike! Fred, you should have at least attempted it, especially if they let you use a graphing calc (I was never allowed to use one in real math classes, but for stat they seemed to think it was ok lol) it does all of the work for you. Hopefully the prof will cut you a break, my room mate slept through a final last year and the professor let him take it like 3 weeks after break for no penalty heh.

Actually, I always remember a Goose Egg and Two Lines on the bottom.

In chinese terms, they represent two Chopsticks.....get the idea?
