Wow Joost is so cool!

Judging by the number of people who're asking for invites, I doubt anyone here has any left over.

But what the heck, if anyone has any, please send one. Email is in my profile...

How about a review from all the new users? I signed up for beta months ago but no luck yet, but I have heard its mediocre at best. For anyone who uses TVUPlayer could you compare the two? I love TVU.

Could use an invite as well, could give my ****** week some new life, though I doubt t.v. is the answer 🙂

Buffering....buffering...tearing...artifacts. That's been my TV on the internet experience so far 😛 - So I have low expectations for anyone who claims as such. Quality will probably suck bad, stretched an blurry looking. Hoping it will be different though. If someone sends me and invite I'll try it out.

I got an email last week saying they were about to open it up to more of a public beta. I signed up a while back but got on the waiting list.

This was from March 15th
This is just to let you know that we haven't forgotten your request to try Joost. We're now speeding up the process of adding testers and we'll shortly be inviting everyone who has signed up to try Joost.

This includes you, so expect an invite within the next couple of weeks - in the meantime, thanks for bearing with us - we appreciate it.

The execution of Joost is awesome. The content blows. I've barely watched for more than 10 minutes since they sent me the invite a month ago..

The content isnt live TV...its a prerecorded set of programs - none that are really up to date. I have fun watching reruns of rocky and bullwinkle but thats about the only big shows on there. Theres music videos and strongman copetitions and other various programs but nothing really "live" or mainstream. Its not like your going to get to watch 24 on Joost, its more of a program to watch freely distributed content that networks are willing to give away.

Anyone want to hook me up with an invite to try this out? We havent had tv in almost a year, this seems like it would be cool to try 🙂

That's what I thought. I took a quick look at the offerings and didn't really see anything appealing, figuring it was all rerun older stuff, and mostly content I'm just not interested in. Not that I even watch TV much, but I was hoping maybe some live football games this coming season would be great. Oh well, maybe in a few years they'll have some worthwhile content.
