meh.. Content sucks so far. I know it'll get better after it's out of Beta but, right now, it's a novelty for a few minutes and then you're back to searching for porn elsewhere.

People like you are exactly what makes the invite system so difficult. In theory, with invites you only bring in "qualified" people into the beta. As you've demonstrated, you didn't even take the time to see what content they offer (clearly explained on the website). You also thought there was porn on there (I can't be sure if you are joking).

I've had people beg me for an invite then they find out that the Mac OS installer only works for Intel-based Macs. And others had systems that couldn't handle it.

So ridiculous.

Oh, lighten up. I've been using Joost since it was called the Venice project.

and the porn thing was a joke.
 
Joost hasn't gone live. It's in public beta and only those with joost accounts can give out invites. If it was really live, then anybody could just sign up.

FWIW, I don't have any invites to give away.

ETA - My account still shows 0 invites to give out. If it ever gives me some to pass out, I would be glad to do so.
