If grades are the estimation and review of your life, no wonder it sucks. Life, even in college, is about what else you do, not just the main thing. Live some, learn some, and you won't be so worried about it.
Heh...
Eariler, I was thinking to myself that I should feel worse - but I don't. I am getting out a lot more than I used too, and I've made a couple good friends. The thing the is though, is any chick going to want to go out with a guy a who gets a "D" math 103 and fails intro to philosophy?
Yes. The person that thinks that an "A" in philosophy is going to get them a chick is the ones I worry about. Grades are numbers. The rest falls into place. And then go hang out with some sailors and learn how to drink.
No, "A" in any class is going to get be any but does any semi-decent chick going to want to go out with a guy who can't even pass a simple class? Does any chick want to marry a guy who dropped out of college making next to nothing?
Hmm. That's almost offending. My chick married me, after she got her bachelors majoring in anthropology, and minoring in photography. And I've never been to college. So according to your theory, what does that say about me? I may not be in college, but I have many experiences that few people will ever have the opportunity to do, being in the Navy for 7 years now. And I'm actually going through college--I'm currently one class away from my associates at an online university. Does that make me a lesser person?
And what's more interesting about it, is that my wife considers me to be the more intelligent of us, as we have had many discussions, including that one. There are many things important in this world. College is not amongst them. When you get out of college, hopefully you learn this. College is a tool--not a way of life, nor the answer to one. Even as such, few people seem to use it properly anyway.
