Wow, I must be truly desperate for money...

OK, here's my current situation. I owe my landlord 850 bucks by the end of this month, so I can move out. My lease technically isn't up until September, and I am supposed to be paying for the remaining 6 months of my lease, but there's no way thast possible for me right now. So I talked to her and we agreed that I will pay her a total of 1700 in termination fees, 850 at the end of this month, 850 at the end of April. Anyways, I know I have to get a job, I plan on doing so, but nothing is biting at the moment. I'm already beginning planning on taking out a personal loan to pay off debts and stuff. But I'm thinking about doing something very drastic for money. I'm thinking about selling all my CDs (over 250 of them), DVDs (about 60-70, give or take), Playstation and games (11 or 12 of these) and PS2 games (10 of these). This should give me a nice wad of cash.

What are your opinions?
 
well, i know that Howard Stern is giving away $250,000.

NO, don't do it. Take out the personal loan, pay the bitch what she wants so you can get out of there without a bad mark on your credit and still keep your CDs.

I have almost 300 CDs. The "real ones"...store bought...they are a big part of my life. I 'd be lost w/o my music. MP3's are nice, but not the same thing...KWIM? You can pull out the liner and look at the pics and all the words and stuff. 🙂

Don't sell your soul to pay the devil...take out a loan. i've been there, man.

Years ago, I sold my comic book collection (go ahead and laugh you idiots) to pay debts. i got $600 for it. Today, it would be worth about $5K. Nosh1t. 🙁
 
Oh yeah, I'm still most definitely looking for a job... but its coming down to really hard crunches, especially when I owe this money by the end of March... not too mention I'm still waiting for another unemployment check, and I owe on a monsterous amount of bills...
 
If you're desperate enough you CAN get a job, even if it's making Subway sandwiches for minimum wage ... it's a job.

I wouldn't call that "drastic" but yeah first I'd sell all that stuff on eBay if you can.

Well you did say desperate!...a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do..u have to take a hit for your dvd and cd collection man...just close your eyes tight and imagine its that girl from smallville or something....😛😉

just put on 3 jimmy caps and a plastic bag with a twisty tie😛
