WOW, I made HOW MUCH??!!!!???!?!!?

Mail comes today with the 1099 from the job I started in the last week of September 2005.
Open it, and damn near had a heart attack.....
They said they paid me $428,246.00 for what was 13 weeks of work...... RRrrrriight. I've got it at a figure a little more than 10% of that. Talk about screw ups!!!
I called them at their corporate office and they're like "Oh yeah, we mailed out corrected ones yesterday."
I'm glad I have a better attention to detail and pride of work ethic than they do or else we'ld ALL be in trouble.
Too bad they're 2 days late on the form in the first place.
What a bunch of dumbasses !

I would have just asked for the missing paycheque. Obviously they got the 1099 right, and simply screwed up your payroll.

so let's say the tax rate is 35%. that's 128K of tax. hahahahahaha

Yep, thats what I figured. As soon as I get that other 380K, I'll cut the IRS a cheque.
And buy the :beer: and some :wine: and hire a :music:. We'll get some :brokenheart:'ers so we can post some :camera:'s. I'll bet I could get Foo Fighters for 100K, anyone want to party?
