Man that was a good movie. I am a little bit disappointed in the ending though. Not because it was bad, but because it leaves you wanting for more. I can't believe I waited this long to see it. It's so much better than 99% of the movies out there.


Ok, enough of my rant.
 
I've always seen Brad Pitt as a psychopath since I saw that movie. He does such a great job. Very strange movie though.

He's actually an excellent actor. Which makes me hate him just that much more. 🙂
 
Ok, I went back to the ending. Yes the song was very apt for the ending.


Ok, now lets look beyond the ending. Is the little kid going to grow up, and then the whole thing is going to repeat itself? The movie repeatedly stated that the future can't be changed. Any thoughts?
 
Brad Pitt is an excellent actor but I don't think he is as hot as everyone says he is. I'm a guy(STRAIGHT) so my opinion obviously should take little weight, but I think there are other men out there that look just as good or better than he does.

Did anyone see Brad Pitt on Jackass? That was messed uP! He seems like a totally cool guy and that along with the fact that every lady loves him makes me jealous, but I don't hate him. I'd want to be his friend. Pick up his leftovers and maybe do his wife a few times too. Lol.

Of course the kid grew up and repeated itself. Everything that happened was foreshadowed by Bruce's returning memories from childhood, only from the kids perspective. He just never knew that the person he watched get shot as a kid was him from the future trying to stop the man from getting shot and I've just thought myself stupid 😕. Excelent, excelent ending. I had to watch the movie again a few weeks ago and it makes a lot more sense to me now that I am 20 as opposed to seeing it when I was 7.
 
One irony is that if the insurance agent was the microbiologist, then how the hell did they manage to build a time machine.
 
I've always felt that she had returned to the past to insure that the future stayed true to here universe. "I'm in insurance..." being more of a joke because she's obviously not in insurance. Maybe I'm way off...

Twelve monkeys was an adaptation of a black and white french short film shot in a what I would call an impressionist style (for lack of a better term).

Oh, oh, oh. I was just watching the documentary. Ok, Terry said the Astrophysicist went back to insure that she gets the virus from that Doctor. This will eventually lead to her going back to the future with the unmutated formof the virus and finds a cure. This scene was seen as a justification of Cole's death. Because if not, then his death would've been in vain. Terry said he didn't really wanted that scene but his assistant directors pushed for it.
