WTF? I can't believe there are people that are saying it's your fault because you didn't give him his stupid class notes back. I mean WTF is wrong with you people?

Next time my neighbor borrows a tool from me, if he doesen't return it prompltly the next day, I'm just going to burn the fsckers house down.

How's that for justice?
You are kidding, right?
<dropped sarcasm meter earlier.

alien and nebor wtf....

so why are you flaming him anyways? I say the other guy overreacted. xiety apologized first, the the other tard blew it. HE shouldn't have.

If it happened to me, i'd burn the notes, but that's me because if someone gives me some temper like that, i'd go "fsck it..fvck him." The other guy proceeded to insult his family, and still xiety returned the notes. If he returned them in person, they probably would have gotten in a fight.

damn alien and nebor you guys need to get out more and knw how people work

U can't just return notes nicely to a raging person like that.

I know because I easily get mad.

Should have just kicked him in the nuts. Then you'd have no trouble closing the door.

There HAS to be more to this story.... It is too absurd to be true. Did you skip the part about you nailing his sister in the ass while copying his notes?

Haha you can tell Xiety is a kid. I bet the whole thing would have ended quickly and painlessly if you had just brought the notes over to his house in person, told him that your mom almost died and left it at that. Sure, maybe hes psycho and you would have gotten into a fight at that moment. But that fight would have been the resolution.

i think i have to agree with how absurd some of these responses are. maybe he was a jackas$ for demanding an apology before returning the notes, but the other dude's final response was just ridiculous. c'mon ppl.

Well you hold some of the blame. You had an agreement and you didn't come through (albeit for an emergency). In addition, when given the chance to make it all better (by returning the notes), you choose not to do that until he apologized. His apology was not part of the original deal. The deal did not change because you had an emergency or because he was rude. You had a responsibility to return the notes to him (not to a common friend). I would have been pissed at you too. He had to go out of his way to get back his property because you weren't responsible enough to keep up your end of the bargain. You could have overnighted them to his door if you didn't want to interact with him directly.

Having said that, he was crazy for going to the lengths he did for class notes. If I were you, I would have pressed charges against him. He threatened to kill you and then took some steps to accomplishing that (coming to your house with a friend is scarry). Not acceptable. Press charges and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. That type of behaviour is not acceptable in society.

How much class notes did you borrow? If it's the notes to the entire class, it might be understandable.

I'd say you started it, if you had returned the notes after your mom's emergency, then sure, all is well. But instead you demand him to apologize because he wants his notes back and then you don't even give him his notes. You make him pick them up from your friends house.

You = tard. But yeah, that guy held a 4 month grudge, lol.

I don't think you understand my point. I would have returned his notes if he just cussed at me. He began cussing at my family and threatened me. At that point, I knew someone saying those words on the phone would not be a good person to get close to. I honestly knew the guy had a temper about some stuff, but I never knew he would get so pissed off over class notes.

As I said, maybe if I went to his house on that day, we could have gotten in a fight, and who knows, maybe his roommates would have get involved as well. I didn't want that because one of us could have got hurt and it will be just too much trouble over class notes. I think I was playing smart here.

And sorry but you = tard, not me, I just did what a civilized society will demand

Oh, come down off the high horse... you're just as much at fault as the other numbnuts. By both your reactions, I'm going to assume that you're in 1st/2nd year HS, which means the notes mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, when, quite frankly, you coukld have asked the teacher for a copy of the lesson, or heaven forbid, ask what pages in the text were read, and make your own damn notes..

Now, you never explained what the medical emrgency was, but if it involved your mom, I can understand how you might be concerned. BUT, it was but an hour... if you ahd said to the guy. "Sure, I'll swing by in a few minutes with them", it wouldn't be an issue, and you both would probably be trying to sneak a peek in the girls changerooms right now...

If someone would've spit on me I probably would've done a bit more than push them... probably would've knocked his ass out. IIRC if someone is trying to enter your house with force you can defend yourself, should've grabbed a bat and raised some hell :|

Correct. Because it won't stop. They won't learn. They're unsalvagable as human beings. Next time, back away from the door, let them come in, then unload 7 rounds of buck into them. You'll have to clean the carpets, and buy more ammo, but the problems will be over and the world a better place overall.

College senior, 1 page of notes from an elective class, that we didnt have a test/homeword due within weeks of the incident. Also, when I first called, the first thing I did was apoloogizing for being late and that I was going to be there in few minutes. He suddenly began cussing about me, my family, etc. and began threatning about what he is gonna do when I come by to drop the notes off...

I can't believe this thread grew so much, lol... anyways..

My word against his word... even if he got into my house, I probably wouldn't have done anything more than swinging a couple w/ a baseball bat (only if i had one) until I am in full defense.

I am not with violance by any means, my first intentions with this whole incident was preventing violance, but appearantly some people just don't care much about how their lifetime will be spent....

That's why you own a gun. Someone tries to force their way into your house, you shoot them. End of story. Deal with repurcussions later.
