Wow I absolutely DESTROYED this lady in canasta....

Not sure if we have any canasta players here but check out the screen shots. 3 hands I finished off my opponent in. I've been playing about 15 years, and my friends and I would always save score sheets after games...None of us had ever annihilated someone this bad before in a game.

That is the luck of Canasta. Fun game, but sometimes you are dealt a hand that is unworthy of being played. If you can't get 2 of a kind, you are screwed. Even if the points required to meld drops to 15 as some versions of the game do. It really sucks when you have all the 2s and all the jokers, yet you can't enter the game since you can't get 2 of a kind.

Of vice versa, when you have all 2 of a kinds and no wilds to get in with.

And that, my folks, was post #15,000. I gotta leave this place.

that's why I like to play the 1 canasta to go out...you usually end up playing 4-5 hands + a game.
