There is a reason why we have a WoW Thread and an Off Topic Forum...

I've seen weirder on my realm.

sex in The Gilded Rose anyone?

if you want to see something that will make you want to take a shower afterwards.... make a human toon on MoonGuard and go inside the Goldshire Inn.

PM me on your thoughts....

Error: Lipsyncing not found. That was one of the stupidest WoW vids I've watched in a long time. Chat bubbles != lip syncing. Ever.

The fact is that most of the typing is also slightly late... which should have been easily corrected in editing...

I'll give them a B- for effort, but honestly, this doesn't take all that much. Play the music over and over while running through town, figure out where everyone needs to stand, give each person a line to put into a macro, and tell them to press the emote as they see your character getting close.

If the actual lips of the "actors" moved nearly perfectly to the lyrics of the song, I'd be extremely impressed. This was entertaining, but not amazing.

I like how you say it wouldn't take much effort, then you go on to explain a complex process that you'd never be able to motivate people in an mmo to even accomplish.

He was saying that the effort in the video didn't take all that much, which is why its not really that impressive because its horribly out of sync.

Its a neat idea but it just doesn't fit together well enough, having never played WoW before I didn't understand what was going on or special about the video until long after the lyrics started and then I noticed the chat bubbles were sort of synced up with the lyrics.

It wouldn't. Get your guild together (or friends, or form a raid and find some people genuinely interested in spending their time making a music video), print out a lyric sheet, assign each person a line of lyrics to make a macro for, run through town while playing the song to assign placement of each person with a subsequent line of lyrics, do another run or two through town to check placement, bam - good to go. The only part the looked moderately difficult to me was the multiple druids during the chorus.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty cool and quite creative, but it's not amazing. This, on the other hand, was a lot harder to pull off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMuRWRqpQXQ. Each person had to be in sync with every single word, not just push a macro button some time during the song with their line of lyrics came on.
