i got paid yesterday (the 1st, monthly) AND today (every two weeks on friday, part-time). yay! nothing like getting paid (twice!) before a long weekend.. woot!

btw, i know some people down there in NC DOT, maintenance engineers 🙂

Really? That's cool...where do they work? I'm in the Century Building (B)--Design Services, Utilities. But I've met some people in Roadway, Hydraulics, IT, and so on. I'm only a temp (summer, pre-college job) though...doing Microstation (CAD) work.

i don't know, i just met them through e-mail and phone conferences. we're setting up some kind of conference for maintenance engineers in october.

I get paid bi-weekly so this month is a 3 paycheck month for me! Woo-Hoo! They take about $200 out of my checks for taxes.

consider yourself lucky........my last check i think i had like 1200 in state and federal deductions....the more you make the more they take....
