I don't like it. Too fat and heavy, plus I really don't like Windows Mobile. I'd get an iPhone over it.

FWIW I currently have a Palm Centro, which I really like.

One word, Nuvifone! For now, I'm happy with my iPhone... Q3 is such a long wait.

Now that's a truth. Have they announced GSM/CDMA? Any carrier ideas? Nuvi+Sero=Ultimate own

No announcements yet....Garmin is being all secretive about it (building up suspense I assume).

i think its a great phone, but the form factor is somewhat lacking (i used to have a blackjack). Had the iphone too but the virtual keyboard and the lack of a really good IM client (ala IM+ or Jivetalk) made me get rid of it, also it didn't have exchange support (which is fixed in firmware 2.0). Blackberry Curve is where its at.

Yep, I'm so looking forward to getting a crackberry one day. iPhone is pretty popular though, pure marketing there and *some* product innovation. My current phone is a touch phone, less than a quarter the price of the iPhone and WAY better with a QWERTY keyboard. It's an m600i by Sony. Sony is really good these days.

Good god man, I have a tilt and I HATE IT. Even with cooked roms, it still SUCKS!!!! My wife has an iphone and work got me the tilt. My tilt makes me want to jump off a bridge. I wish I could go back to a standard flip phone.

I think it's from AT&T Right? If so than no unless they have a CDMA model. AT&T/Tmobile use different network technologies than Verizon/Sprint.

I've been looking into a Tilt and I also tinkered with an iPhone while at the AT&T Store. I don't think I'd ever buy an iPhone though as I found it completely user unfriendly. I'm pretty computer savvy, but if I can't figure out how the hell to exit a stupid application after fiddling around with the device for 5 minutes, then that's simply poor design. Not like I've never used a mac before either 😱.

One of the main reasons I'd get something like a tilt is that I don't like using numpads as keyboards. I hate the IM client on my phone. It only pulled a handful of users from my buddy list onto my phone, which made it practically useless as I can't remember anyone's username. I don't use it all that often, but when I want to use it, I'd prefer it to not be total garbage.

It'd also be nice to be able to hook my phone up to a PC and not have to use Motorola's horrible tools just to access anything on the phone.

hahahaha. sorry that just made me laugh. All you have to do is press the home button to close an app (yes, I know that's very complicated).

The XV6800/HTC Mogul is kind of a middle of the road between the older GSM HTC model (8525) and the Tilt (8900). Verizon just announced they're going to be selling the HTC Touch as the XV6900, that's an awesome phone too.

I pressed every button on the phone and the screen and also tried any touch gesture I could think of and nothing worked to get out of the google maps application. I highly doubt that I missed the home button, ass.

Every button? There's only one button on the phone and that's all you have to press to get out from an app.

There are buttons on the side.... Also, it seems someone with a normal phone (like myself) would assume the home button is some funky looking microphone (since it is in the place where you would talk from. Hence why I did not push it, because it did not register to me as a button but rather some funky looking sound receiving device which I would not put past Apple to put there. Now, if I would have known said thing was actually a button (which I could see being in a handy spot when holding the device in your hand), I wouldn't have had any issues. It seems being good with computers does not translate to being good with anything Apple makes 🙁.
