Hope you all enjoyed it, and now back to UT ;)

Wow, it's clear Win 98 is still the premiere gaming platform. I'd not consider an upgrade for Win 2K as things are...:(

Did you manage to overclock that thing at all? :)

Actualy Quake III does better in NT 5.0, frame rate wise. There was an article about it and gaming somewhere that had Win98SE, WinMe and NT5 Quake III scores and the NT5 scores were considerably higher than the others.

Yeah, but thats pretty much for all OpenGL applications. D3D... I dunno it's a toss up.

snow, I have not tried to overclock at all...been enjoying UT...:)

I tried in w2k, but not too stable. also, it only allowed me to overclock the mem and not the core.

the fast track software is for 98 and i'll try later on 98, right now, I'm just enjoying the performance increase ;)

2D looks pretty too :p

No NT5 is TOO stable, thats why it doesn't allow OCing. It's very picky about hardware.

Trinitron, it doesn't mind downclocking though...had to down the mem to 320 to get 3dmark3k to work...

That right there is why I bought this DPT RAID Decade card, even though it is still an Adaptec, they will not write a driver for the AAA-13x series for 9x, and they have one for NT, 2k, but the more expensive card (decade, supports 160, AAA doesn't) works in 95/98/NT/2000...WTF?

yup, every piece of hardware I've bought in the last 2 months, I've make sure that they're w2k compatible...

Still looking for a digital cam.
