I don't believe anybody can play this game with max settings @ 1260 x 1024 with any AA/AF.

It was nice a sluggish for me on my computer at 1280x1024 w/ everything at very high with no AA/AF selected. Everytime I tried selecting AA/AF it would also corrupt the display, is this a problem with the Cat. 4.3 drivers?

Hm, software enabled AA/AF? I think im using cat 3.9 now. Not until they resolve random PC crashes running Zero Hour will I update. I had no problems running with AA/AF.
At either rate I found AA is pointless for this game at hih res. Compare for yourself. I saw no jaggies on hi res. And AA killed my performance big time. Im now running it very smoothly with max detail @ 1280 x 960. I'm afraid to try 1280 x 1024.

I walk in the cave and fps dipped to the teens and 20's during fire fights and it became nearly unplayable. I turned off AA/AF and it still bonked, is that the DX9 ps2 shader stuff being used that crushed my card in the caves?
I enjoyed it and the very playable fps right upto the caves, I have a 9800pro coming so I will be interested in seeing if the 5800U's limitations are overcome because of the superior DX9 performance especially using AA/AF.Originally posted by: jdogg707
This games fun, but when I am getting a$$ frame rates on brand new hardware, I have an issue with that. Hopefully the plethora of new stuff coming out will help to get FPS up on this sucker so I can actually enjoy playing it!

Ya, I was about to buy this game, but I won't until some of the issues are fixed and it becomes a little more playable...I mean Halo is a lot more playable than this!
