LMAO, what a moron. The usual "he's too tall and fat and that's not fair" argument is so pathetic it makes me feel sorry for this writer.

Shaq has great footwork, is the quickest center in the NBA, and is in fact a good playmaker when he wants to be. Yeah, Shaq is adding unneeded pounds, but if you ignoramuses would realize that Shaq has been unable to workout in the last few months due to his injuries (big toe, etc.) maybe I wouldn't laugh my ass off at your stupidity. ;)

So let me get this straight... this guy is complaining because Shaq is too big (obviously his fault and he should be banned from the game).

And he complains about Shaq travelling but mentions Iverson as being one of the players with real skill? I'd say Iverson travels more than anyone else in the league.

He's a big guy and is able to move around and dominate because he is physically gifted. I would say he's surprisingly agile for being so immense, and really is a decent passer.

Some people just like to whine and complain.

A little harsh but a lot of it is true.
If i were Shaq, I would repond like this:" well too bad you aint 7'1'' and 350, not too many people have this kind of size in the world. Life aint fair, suck it up, this is the way it goes, called Darwinism: the strongest survive and dont be bitchin' at me just because I happen to be the biggest guy in the NBA"

LMAO. I never realized you could lose 50 pounds by working out your gut.

He can?t do any type of significant cardiovascular workout due to injuries (like his big toe). Running, jogging, etc. is the #1 way to stay lean (i.e. drop those pounds), which Shaq has been unable to do for quite some time. This is one of the reasons Shaq has hardly been involved in the routine Lakers practices (sprints, etc.). This might be one of the reasons why Shaq is shooting better from the line recently, more time to practice free throws.

Are you serious?

Really now, are you seriously going to sit here and tell me there?s a quicker center than Shaq, or one that has better footwork in the NBA? Name just one.

Yes, Vlade comes to mind first. Along with others. How many times have you seen Shaq go AROUND an opponent and score?

And don't get me started about your "Shaq can't lose weight because his big toe is hurt" comment.

David Robinson, Tim Duncan (depending on if he is playing center or forward, Kevin Garnett (same as Duncan), Elton Brand, Marcus Camby, Dale Davis, Dikembe Mutumbo and Alonzo Mourning ring a bell?

are you equating footwork as to who can push around the most? then yeah, Shaq would be the best.

The fault lies with the officiating. The NBA looks more and more like the NFL every year.

come on now...

don't be a shaq hater.

if anyone... it should be kobe getting all them trash.

a basketball is not a single player sports.
it's a team game.
it's how you fit into that team game that matters.

and for what it's worth... shaq is best at fitting that center position.

i don't know a single nba team that wouldn't want shaq on their roster.
even if hated him so much... you'd still want him on your bench... than playing against him.

Divac! LMAO! Oh yeah, he's quick alright, quick to flop whenever someone gets near him.

And don't get me started about your "Shaq can't lose weight because his big toe is hurt" comment

Yeah, sure, because I know it would be such a great response.

Duncan is a great player; faster than Shaq? Debatable.

Robinson? Do you watch NBA basketball? Have you never watched Shaq guard Robinson? Have you ever seen Robinson get past Shaq in the lane for a basket? Basically never. Have you ever seen Shaq rape Robinson in the lane dunk after dunk? Do I need to answer this?

Garnett isn?t really a center, but since he can play the role, I would say that he might be faster than Shaq, but, like Robinson, he hasn?t proven it.

I hope you?re joking about Elton Brand?

LMAO, Dale Davis. Puhlease.

Mutumbo is a great defender and is quick; again, it?s debatable. I?d still go with Shaq. I?m sure you watched the finals last year?

Mourning has always been good, but I barely watched him this season (wasn?t he injured?).

are you equating footwork as to who can push around the most? then yeah, Shaq would be the best.

No. Shaq has the skill to get the open shots by simply moving around them. Is it a wonder Shaq gets blocked almost never, but that Shaq continually blocks other centers? No.

Sometimes I wonder if some of you guys have even watched a game in the last year.
