Wow, die on your wedding day... (different than previous wedding death post)

I got up this morning and got a call from my dad. He said he got a disturbing call this morning saying that one of his coworkers had been killed in a helicopter crash minute after her marriage. Apparently, the wedding party flew upto the top of a mountain and had the ceremony, then as one of the helicopters was coming down it crashed, Killing her and critically injurying the groom and four other wedding guests. They don't know if they will make it, but it doesn't look good.

That sounds like a total nightmare, you just had one of the happiest moments of your life with the one you love, then the next minutes they are taken from you in a violent crash that wouldn't have happened if you didn't have your wedding at the top of mountain. 🙁

Anyway, I'm just having another one of those moments, where you realize that the ones you love won't be there forever. We have to make the best of our time here on the earth.

wow. more of a reason to hold a wedding indoors, without the cheap showieness of nature (from the lisa simpson marriage episide).

but that still stinks.
