My view of the world may be quite different from EK, but pardon me if I assert EK and his ilk who have far more defective, limited, and colored world views that does far more damage to the entire world, far more damage to future US foreign policy, and the US and world economy.

I will stay out of your discussion with EK but I have to correct some data/facts in your post.

Vietnam war was not over until 4/30/1975 when NVN tanks crashed the Presidential Palace. I was at that very same place a few months ago.

The Killing Field was the result of the Cambodian Khmer Rouge regime (with backing from commie China) killing their own people = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_Fields. Commie NVN can be blame on a lot of things but not this one.
