yep. i dont see whats so respected about keeping your virginity. sex is an important part of interacting with people and learning about them and yourself. its not "just" sex, sex opens up all kinds of issues that you should probably not put off learning about. it's like saying its a good thing to wait until age 40 to make a friend. (exaggeration of course, take it easy now)

meh...while it is respectable of anyone to resist an urge, I don't think higher of people who hold out till marriage. I just don't really see a need for it. Could I if I had a reason? Sure. Actually they did a study between the US and Great Britain for girls losing their virginities. US girls lost virginity younger but UK girls had more partners. So I guess we do lose it younger but we dont sleep around as much.
