Anyone else find it funny what they name on of the folders after you have installed it?

Must be bored and used their first pick to store all the problems that they need to fix 😛
 
Hehe I Play on the beta server... this game kicks butt already addicted big time..
7 days of stress test = nothx... yall gonna be on a whole other server with nothing but 100k newbs all trying to do th newbie quests.... haha way no thanks.. lets wait in line to camp a mob so I can advance my quest. =P
great game.. Amazing Grafics... (dont let the screnshots fool ya.. WOW is GORGEOUS i thought id be disapointed with grafics but it but wow.. it really is beautiful.

Anyone know how far they are into the 100,000 test slots even though most are being sold on e-bay.

At least nice to know that a weeks price of heaven is going for 15ish $ 😀

Just wondering since was unable to find out how far along they are in and want to start playing this or at least stop staying up so late to check my mail

No, 1st day of the stress test when they allowed free FilePlaneters to get in.

The 7 day stress test will start when all the cdkeys are given out, and the start will be on WorldofWarcraft.com and FilePlanet.com

And I've entered every Beta since Brood Wars and the Diablo 2 Stress Test and haven't gotten a single thing. I can't compete with people signing up 20+ times on proxies for WoW 🙁

Yea that is what I am wondering about as how far they are into it.

Better not e stalled at 99, 900 or I shall get all the 100 more and make a mint on e-bay 😀

Did manage to get into that and was fun since you couldn't go past the 3rd quest with the evil amazon or whatever and was barbs only.

3 slotted swords were the uber items back then heh

One major question: loot. I've heard that items are SEVERELY limited. Like, all high lvl players own or want to own the same set of equipment. THis is make or break for me. I need vast choices in loot...in the region of hundreds of different items of comparable (but definately not exact) quality/effectiveness to choose from at each lvl or at least every few lvls. Seriously. The sheer quantity and variety of loot to be had will determine whether or not I, and consequently my wife, buy into this game. 🙂

Had to rant somewhere, is very frustrating to not be able to post in a forum the devs actually pay attention to.

 
Hard to say.. the end game isnt even in the world yet..
max cap in beta so far is 55...
retail it will be 60 then you start the Hero levels...

Blizz has already said there will be tons of content.. there is already so much lower content that noone can possibly do it all...
so hopefully they will have the same for upper levels...
Loot doesnt seem to be a problem..
there are alot of very good items and everyone seems to look very different i havent really seen alot of L55s with the exact same stuff...

I'm playing the free beta for Saga of Ryzom. Nice tradeskill engine, craptastic everything else.

lots and lots of info on the beta boards since there is no NDA and you are allowed to read what us testers post.
 
Yeah I've browsed there quite a bit but never read a post that hasnt either been started by a blue or responded to by one 😉

I read the 5-6 page thread started by Asiana, responded to by Tigole, which set me off on the loot issue.

I know, no link available but most of the world isn't spawned.

Some of the world isn't even finished modeling.
