I don't think I will be able to coordinate with other PCs often so I want an all around class. Question is how often does lock picking come into play. I really don't want to play a rogue but I don't want to loose out on treasure, if its all locked up.
 
you don't have to have a rogue, the chest they can open rarely have anything good in them. If you plan on mostly solo play try a lock or hunter.
