Initially, and after I purchased a GTX1070ti and RX 570 8GB in Jan., I was making like $20-22/day. Now it's down to like $12-13/day, and it's only a month later.

wtf are you mining that's still making $12-$13/day with only those 2 cards? wtf is your hashrate with just those 2 cards.

Yes. This is very clear.

Mined coins = income tax
Bought coins = capital gains

With mined tokens, it's actually income tax on the initial value of the tokens, and then cap gains on whatever value they gain after they come into your possession. Only in Larry's case, his yearly earnings are so low that if he were to file, he would probably have zero liability after taking into account standard deduction.

And of course, selling the news is nerve-wrecking. I'm never doing that again.

I choose sleeping soundly vs FOMO while the price flies beyond your grasp just to get few more VENs.
Are you actively trading your currencies? I thought you said you put in just enough that you wouldn't be hurt if it all went to zero.

Here's VeChain shill I found on reddit. Credit goes to whoever.

Before they were known as VeChain, they were known as BitSE. BitSE was established 2013. VeChain has been working on this going on 6 years now.

16 June 2016 https://www.coindesk.com/press-releases/pwc-announces-strategic-alliance-bitse/

PricewaterhouseCoopers is the 2nd largest accounting firm in the world and is working with VeChain for 2 years now.

They have had a working product since 2016 demo here https://youtu.be/38Mid9B6D0o?t=2220

Jim Breyer joining the team and has many connections with China. https://medium.com/@jimbreyer/announcing-our-vechain-advisory-role-5e37b7722978

DNV GL has been expanding their commitment with VeChain. VeChain hosted a live Q&A with the CEO of VeChain. https://www.facebook.com/dnvgl/videos/10156181778853395/

The VeChain ICO sold out in under 3 minutes. People were and are excited to get their hands on VeChain.

VeChain holders will generate THOR. THOR is what will be needed to write to the block chain. 70% of all THOR will be burned to help keep the supply down.

For hardware here is a tease https://medium.com/@vechainofficial/vechain-tech-sneak-preview-8834d5dde843

YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQI7OD6a0fw

"This is just a tease of the hardware functionality VeChain is patenting and implementing for unnamed partners."

"patented NFC-RFID hybrid chip. The NFC part allows the customers to interact with the blockchain. The RFID part is designed for manufacturers to interact with the blockchain."

"It picks up the card and dropping it on the read writer. It writes the data directly to the blockchain."

Decentralized Application VeVID https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...-decentralized-application-vevid-cd97bdf98670 which means KYC to meet regulations set forth by Governments.

"An example of this is that VeChain is working closely with our strategic partner BitOcean to go through Japanese FSA compliance process so that we can legally transact VET in Japan and our token VET can be legally listed on major Japanese exchanges."

Chief Technology Officer https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...to-gu-jianliang-to-the-community-81f7343f583b"Mr. Gu also holds, invented and helped to invent more than 100 relevant patents in varying fields, such as integrated circuit design, mobile device power management, enhanced traceability by utilizing NFC technology, etc."

VeResearch for helping find ways to expand the reach of VeChain and THOR https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...focused-on-innovative-blockchain-1af41dbdc63a

China tabacco https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...chinas-tobacco-industry-in-force-c92b3729878f

"VeChain will work with tobacco regulatory bodies and manufacturers to create specific blockchain+IoT solutions to collect end user data so that manufacturers can utilize the data collected to management internal supply chain more effectively and to develop products which are more fitting to end users’ likings."

"VeChain will be providing proof of origin and anti-counterfeit technology to track Chinese produced tobacco products throughout the entire supply chain."

More on BitOcean https://medium.com/@vechainofficial/vechain-bitocean-7f12402e13b0

"VeChain has finalized the terms of a strategic partnership with BitOcean. BitOcean is an ATM solution selling cryptocurrencies nationwide across both China and Japan."

More on the chips https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...aji-from-guotai-junan-securities-2e62f40b35ec

"A team from a major China based multinational electronic conglomerate lead by a senior staff of 15 years of technical R&D and management experience in IoT has joined VeChain as VeChain’s hardware development team. (soon to be formally introduced to the community) Their goal is to work on world class RFID, NFC and sensors to integrating Blockchain and IoT. During our cooperation with our customers, we won’t be restricted by our technology. Instead, we will design solutions based on our customers’ requirements."

The Chief Operation Officer of VeChain worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...hief-operation-officer-of-vechain-1ff66beded7

Yida Group’s IT Management division https://medium.com/@vechainofficial...t-management-division-yida-future-44d0663a2ac

"Yida Group is a prominent (7th in China) master-planned zone real estate developer who developed and owned assets including smart cities such as B.E.S.T. City and smart industrial parks such as Dalian Software Park, and 20+ master planned areas. Phase one of this partnership will include integrating the Gui’an smart city administrative solutions into existing projects. The end result of this partnership being VeChain Thor integration into current technology and the development of blockchain solutions that are customized to all existing clients and assets under Yida Group."

The biggest partner DNV GL "187 countries, DNV GL has established business connections with more than 80,000 valued customers, including Airbus, Coca Cola, Tencent, IBM, Oracle, Cisco, HSBC, and Alibaba."

VeChain should announce a partnership with FamilyMart Convenience store company and VeChain should be providing a supply chain solution for their 24,243 stores.

Also a BMW partnership should be announced soon.

Numerous exchanges have yet to add VeChain.

Guian New Area in China is a smart city that is going to be using THOR https://cdn.vechain.com/vechain_national_government_partnership_guian_release.pdf

VeChain is currently running on a Consortium Blockchain. So their partners know what they are getting into.

There will be a lot more news released over time. Have an AMA coming. More hardware technical details coming. More partnerships. Wallet details. Probably a beta of the main net for us to use before the real thing comes out

Ofc do your own research, enter at your own risk, thank me if you end up filthy rich, blame only yourself if you lose it all.

Just so happens, VEN is dipping now as most of us predicted after a 2 day big bull run (from 4 to 7 bucks).

It's basically a sale.

I'm so bullish my total avg purchase price is high as $4.50~. I got in early as $1.20 And late as $8.00.

No and what does that have to do with not being hurt financially.
You just post a lot so it seems like you were actively trading. I bought some crypto several months ago and this last USD infusion into coinbase will likely be all that I will do. I was really excited about it a few months ago but after learning how to do the transactions and seeing how far it has to go before it has applicable use I realize how much of a bubble some of these cryptos could actually be.

Oh my god LOL. All the holders - all they do is read/post/consume themselves in crypto. You don't have to be actively trading to be speculating things every minute, refresh price every minute, fantasize where the money will go.

I did that for the first week after buying and then got bored with it. Recently i have been reading up and checking in on crypto news about once weekly.

Yo man why you no reply to what I wrote here brah

1) I still have no money in my coinbase account and I need to look back a few pages for the exchange you mentioned
2) I'm waiting for the next blood bath. I don't have the balls to buy high and sell higher.

I see RX580 atm in stock at newegg for the same price.

Nowinstock.net FYI

it's a 4GB model, but still better hashrate than a 570.

Even still, after factoring in electricity cost that is a 10 month repayment. I'd rather just take 300$ on VET unless you ALSO could use the graphics card itself for something other than mining.

1) hedging my bets by doing both.
2) I already got 4gb cards and would prefer to start stocking up 8gb cards "just in case".
3) I'm okay with a long ROI as long as there's ROI.

I'd take VET handsdown because of sheer amazing multiplier growth. Yes I'm this delusional and bullish. A single cent spent on GPU is a waste when buying VET option is provided. Not a cent, even if you enjoy gaming. Because I'm THAT bullish on VET - the opportunity cost is too critical.

I mean it's no more wasted than putting into a pipe and smoking it.

don't worry zeze, I'll invest in the trinity - gpu's, VET, and weed. Although the investment on weed returns 0% every time.

So you do think I'm actually high.

Hmm perhaps I'll create a poll.
