*sigh* I know nothing about Athlon 64's.. I cant even remember what I have in my system at home. Havn't touched it in 9 months now.
 
im planning on upgrading to a A64 3500+. i wonder how much faster that is than my currently main system, my laptop running a Pentium-M 1.6

I had a decent one for a bit but ended up selling it since I'll have no use for it when I get home. Right now I'm using a celeron 1 ghz with 128 mb or ram. Our internet here is like 100k, and I have to refresh most pages several times. Havn't played a real pc game in 9 months. Havn't played xbox in 2 months after mine blew up. I'm gonna have a lot of catching up to do.

Bracknell, in between central london and reading / windsor, I'm in the _very_ small percentage of the population in the UK that can get UKOnline's new 8 meg Rate Adaptive DSL service 😉

I've only had it for 2 weeks actually, all for £39.99 a month 🙂

Oh and I have over a half a meg upload too 😛 screw bulldog 😉

i had just upgraded to a barton 3200+ about the time the 64 was released. Figured I'd wait for the motherboards to mature a bit, but I guess that's happened already.

Sweet, I just checked my location and it's avaliable. I think I know what I'll be gettting after my 512k line subscription ends

Too bad it is hers and I am using my 2001fp and my 9800pro in my 2500nforce 2 machine. I REALLY need to put it in her machine again when I get a chance so I can get > 45fps @ 1600x1200 in HL2

I've got an A64 w/t 9800pro and 1 gig of ram. I can't play HL2 at 45 FPS and 16x12. What am I doing wrong? I have to have it at 1280x1024.
