I had a package coming of misc. parts and electronics for a customer network install.

Normally it comes in after 2 days from Kansas. Yesterday I got the traditional "On FedEx Vehicle for Delivery" at 7:00AM. Nothing comes in yesterday so I call them today and ask for a trace. They put a trace on it and call me back by the branch manager or something like that saying.

"Yes, yesterday we had a problem with that driver. Right now it looks as he just decided to throw out the packages or place them at the wrong address. More than 20 people on his route have called in. Most likely it is lost"

I don't know about you but I'd say "Truck Trouble" or "Too little time for driver" or "lost package".

Ah well, not my problemo but my suppliers (for once) :p

Wow. I'm more surprised that you found a number to call them directly than anything else. :p

I wonder what the hell went wrong with that driver? LOL. Obviously he snapped and he doesn't even work at the post office. ;)

And if they told you truck trouble you'd call shens on them and wonder the real reason. Don't say you wouldn't! ;)

The trick is call FedEx ground tracking number line with the automated thing.

Next when you get the welcome computer and asks for you to say what you want say "operator"

Bingo, you are connected to a live person.
