I've got $100 from a job last week and I'm about to go out and spend it at WorstBuy.

That's my problem. I tend to spend to much on impulse. I bought a 400 disc DVD changer last week that I haven't even hooked up yet. I need to get better at saving long term.

Do you currently carry a balance from month to month on any credit cards?

No. I have one card that is locked in a fire proof box in my bedroom. I deal in cash. I'm not poor or anything, I just tend to sort of wax and wan, rather than have a more steady cash flow.

Oh interesting. So waht do the banks do when they ask for a credit report when you're taking out a loan? or do u not do that either?

I have credit. I have had several cards, but because of my impulse buying habits, I got rid of all of them and stopped carrying the one I kept.

The only loans I've ever had were car loans, and store credit (a furniture account). I just don't like the idea of myself building up debt. I know in the next few years I'll be buying a home, and I would like to keep my debt low.

Lets see, $2.21 in my checking account, $180 in my savings... nothing in my wallet. $800 on my Credit Card due in a few weeks... hmmmmm, good thing my wife keeps all the money :)
