Wow, a well written blog!

Most blogs are complete trash, full of 'LOL my GF did XYX' and such, and that's why I don't like 99% them. There's no point in reading the boring writings of average boring Joe. Occasionally though, I come across something good, that rarest of things - a well written blog entry with an actual story to tell. Example:

A festering, puss-weeping sore on the arse of the urine sodden tramp that is London. They, these idiot advocates of the East End, will tell us all about that wonderful "cockney charm", but as far as I saw, it only manifests itself as carving your initials into a strangers face with a stanley-knife.

In general, the reoccurring repetition results in what appears to be a repetitive attempt at simulating wit. The punchlines are too expected, too obvious.

You're right that it is better than 99.999% of the ***** * ***festering**** sullen****** abominable rancid shat on mysapce though

Maddox is quite good at offending people. He has some pretty horrific satire and presents it with a straight face. I wonder how many death threats he's gotten from idiots who don't realize what his site is...

Quality link. My english TA uses the term blog. It makes my ears burn :|

There are a lot of well written blogs that tell an actual story. Someone writing about their day will generally suck though, unless they're a fabulous writer and live a pretty extraordinary life. Also, Maddox's site, great as it is, is pretty much a blog.
