Wow, a Weather Channel truck just pulled into my building's parking lot

Time to get dressed and go downstairs to check it out!

Dang, still can't find my camera.

Flooding expected here. Guess it's gonna be really bad if Weather Channel is here . . .

The news is talking about the Delaware, Susquehanna and Pissaic.. Sorry Passaic 😉 rivers overflowing their banks. So yeah - Not going to be pleasant in the next day or three.

Go punch em in the face and say "That's from Accuweather bitches!" Srsly - weather channel blows.

West Paterson, parts of Little Falls, Little Ferry, Hackensack, Pompton Lakes, areas of Wayne (Fayette Ave, Ryerson, Willowbrook Mall, sections of RT46 in Fairfield, RT#202 north of the Hamburg Tpke, some parts of Lincoln Park. Stores along RT23 North between Pompton Plains Cross Road and Alexander Ave. All of these flood easily.

The 2 guys in the weather channel van only parked, went across the street and got Chinese food and left. They said they'd be back though.

Thus giving us neighbors time to gossip about how much we hate the weather channel especially since Al Roker is on, and to talk about all the flooding. This is north NJ close to NY state, we have the Saddle River and the HoHoKus brook which is at the end of our street and is already flooding nicely. Won't get anywhere near my building since I'm seriously uphill from the flooding. There is a sh*tload of water out there already though and much rain expected.

News & weather channels are taking pictures of the fancy mansions that are near the water and are getting flooded.

I work at home and was in my hello kitty jammies

I know where HoHoKus is about 4 miles or so north of RT4, off RT17 .. I live in Wayne, NJ myself (not anywhere near the flood part)

The weather channel truck has been sighted again nearby. Not going out to check it out this time. Still not going to watch the weather channel.

Oh thank god.

(for the hello kitty jammies).

Still not going to watch the weather channel.

Hallelujah! Another convert! You don't need an entire channel to get the weather wrong. Your local guy is good enough + sticking yer head out the winda. If your really bright just read the NOAA updates and forecast discussion for your area (www.noaa.gov - insert zip code) and you have essentially what the weather folks read.

I could take a pic of the river in my back yard that is WAYYY higher than normal... not to mention we are supposed to get 6-10" of snow tonight...
