I guess my workouts in the gym have finally paid off.. I did 300 a couple of reps in the gym today and was excited. Pretty impressive for myself being that I had shoulder surgery not to long ago.

So who's part of the ATOT 300 club?

Im a member of the 300/2.3076923076923076923076923076923 club. Much cooler than yours.

Nope, not anymore. I trained hard for about a year and went from approximately 160 bench to about 315 without protein supplements or doing anything extraordinary, then I decided I wanted to lose a few pounds so I jumped on the bike/treadmill and burned it all off. Back down in the low-200s max now.

so when you say freeweight you mean regular bench w/ bar ... NOT dumbells right?

I usually workout with 110-115 / hand DB on big chest days ...

Congrats man! I've been training for a few months now and I'm nowhere near that, but give me time and I will get there. Any helpful tips?

I'm on 40/40/20 for nutrition since I'm cutting and lifting 5-6 days a week.

I think he means without the aid of the Smith machine? not sure though.

200lb club here only.(215bench, 340 squat). probably will never make it to 300lb club seeing as i eigh about half that.

Lifting yourself off of the bench doesn't count as pushing 300 lbs 😀

Be honest, how much do you weigh?

300 club is meaningless, its your strength to weight ratio.

 Exactly right. Any professional weight lifting measurement is done by percentage, and not weight.

If you're 150 pounds benching 300, that's impressive. If you're 250 benching 300, well... not so much.

Just keep at it and use proper form and most of you can get there or beyond. If I ever do it you'll hear about it on the news 😉
