Nope, nothing wrong with Connect3D. I use them the most for ATI builds.

Built by ATI models have good support through ATI from what I've heard. Brands like Sapphire and others may have questionable support. Research the company's support history before you buy

Yup, Newegg will let you RMA it through them for a year if it has any problems. And most problems will probably occur in the first year (if not first month)

Do you guys think upgrading from my 7800GT 256mb would be worth it? I haven't had it too long and could sell it for around $225-250 on EBay (I have everything saved in mint condition) That would be a huge $50-75 upgrade!

Oblivion makes my 7800gt cry :(

$100 MIR

I still wouldn't get one since they're so hot and noisy, but that puts its price at the level of a 7900GT. Kinda hard to beat that!

Is there a catch I don't see aside from the heat and noise? Maybe something particular to that Connect3D brand that is bad?

Nice post, too bad she's OOS...

As far as heat/noise goes, drop a vf900 on that card. I wasn't incredibly impressed with the vf900 with my Lian Li v1200, which is an ATX/BTX hybrid type setup, but with my new ATX case, the vf900 is awesome. Dropped my idle temps into the 40's and my under load temps into the 60's (XTX, non-OC'ed).

I've heard that having the inverted MoBo design helps out the temps...
