The United States is not in violation of U.N. regulations, or international law. Iraq did not comply with the terms of surrender of the first Gulf War, therefore is in direct violation of the peace treaty. This invalidates the agreement, and also relieves the United States from it's obligation to honor the now dishonored treaty. After that point, the United States is free to return and pound them at will, until either bashing them to oblivion, or making them comply. The U.N. cannot declare war for the United States. Furthermore, the U.N. has no control over U.S. troops, at any time. That's U.S. policy. You all might know that if you actually did your reseach before spouting off.
As far as feeling for the disabled.....I'm a disabled veteran. I spent my time at Landstuhl, and Walter Reed. I also would return to the Army if permitted, and would fight with honor anywhere they sent me. Grow up and stop hating the United States. Iraq was wrong, and the U.N. is a toothless wonder with terrorist leaders on the Security Council. Without the United States, the U.N. is a joke, like the league of Nations was. They have never stopped a war, and have never intervened to remove an oppressive tyrant. What good are they?
