No because that would mean working in NYC.
Yeah, where would you park your pickup truck with the shotgun mounted in the back window? :p

Sure why not, cant let previous experiences put terror into the future, hence terrorism.

yep...there won't be any more plane hijackings for quite some time, until our security measures start to slack again...

Even if there was an attempted hijacking people would attack the terrorist. If you think you know it's going to kill you anyways why wouldn't you risk your life to save it?

Problem is that in '92 they tried to truck bomb it and it fail. So they decided to fly planes into this time. Next time who knows? Maybe they will shoot a half dozen RPGs at it in tandem? Maybe they will do something we would never expect. Sure the hijacking of planes ended as soon the people on Flight 93 overcame the terrorists, but you just can't say they wont keep trying new stuff.

they arent going to let air traffic any where near there.

I do think they should rebuild the towers bigger than any buildings before them. Its only fitting that the US should have the tallest building in the world.

i think those monstrosities in china and malaysia are starting to stress known construction techniques for height. Besides, to beat those, there's got to be way more land to build up the base on than is available in the wake of the world trade centers. I believe I read on CNN that the WTC held spots 5 and 6, and the ones above it are a lot taller.

they where the 3rd and 4th tallest at the time. Thpetronas towers in malaysia are the two tallest which should be soon passed by another.

i would never live or work in a large city (my own hometown of 200,000 is way too large), so no.

like to also mention Frank Loyd wright designed a mile high building. It is basicly a mini city with everything you need inside. The foundation would be something like 1/3 a mile into the ground.

there was a design to build a building to 2000 ft.

I wouldn't have worked in them in the first place. I don't like heights all that much.

I would if they mounted some kind of weapon to zap incomming planes, explosive loaded trucks, and lawyers.

I would. I'd be the first to sign up for the 110th floor. I mean..what are the chances of what happened happening again?

On a related note, does anyone else think it'd be a great idea to equip all the top floors w/ parachutes?
