I'm 15, I've only been following since 2000, when I was 10, and I knew Clinton was inaugurated in 1993.

Then again, I'm an American, so I should know that.

By your logic, I should only be able to know Washington was the first president if I were alive and involved in politics at the time.

He is the guy that rammed the tax hike through which increased the top rate to 39.5%, I recall how hard it was to get the votes and I believe it passed by only one vote.

The Republicans said it would destroyed the economy if rich people were taxed that high and yet the economy recovered and we ran surpluses.

After having 290 billion deficits with Bush Sr. we ended up in the black for the first time in years.

Bush Jr has reduced the tax rate from 39.5% to 35% and we are once agian running HUGE deficits.

Great idea. Repeal the amendment that sets term limits on presidents and let GW and Clinton run in one. That would be a hoot! 🙂
