"Would you walk 500 miles to save a complete strangers life?"

Do you mean literally or do you mean figuratively?

If you mean literally, of course I would. It's good exercise for me after all, since I'm a couch potato. ;) I love walking whenever I get the chance to. :D

However, if you mean figuratively, I'm not sure. I can't avow to that. I mean, there are different circumstances that could make me do it or not do it.

You could do it in less than a month.

Couldn't agree more sir

I would definitely do it.

I hate these hypothetical questions. why wouldn't I be able to drive there or inform someone near him of the predicament?

EDIT: or her.

With out a seconds hesitation, I could think of anything greater in life than being able to save someones life directly. Dang their are some heartless souls on this forum

no because it would nearly kill me to walk that far and no one would come 500 miles to save me! :p

pretty interesting that everyone seems split on the issue.

The poll right now shows 88 for yes, and 89 for no.

Depends on who it is. If it's horrible person who raped and killed 10 people, no. Otherwise, hell yes.

I would try to run the whole way. I would do it but I would have to be guaranteed the person would live and it would have to be longer than a day.

I wouldn't walk 500 miles to save a family member's life. Not that I'm lazy, I just don't really value life anymore.
