Yea, I'd eat one, but I'd prefer some kind of reward, or contest with others. I'd like to win something nice if I did better than others. Maybe a bottle of reaper sauce or something.

Sorry for the off topic but I just noticed your sig link. That's one weird Waits song and it reminded me of that character in the jail in Bram Stoker's dracula. I didn't realize it was Waits until I saw your link and it clicked in my head and made me do a search. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo4Y0TxW41g Pretty cool.

Negative, I could (and have) been compelled to eat extremely spicy things, but I won't do it with something that produces dust/particulates when eaten. Too high likelihood of inhaling some of that crap and coughing until I have an aneurysm.

Hot chili/wings? Bring 'em.

it's only fun with friends & family

The chip will be sold only on Paqui’s website. Last year, it was $4.99.

i think they've put a reasonable price on it, but online only? what's the shipping?

Me and a coworker were looking for a few of these chips this past spring after watching LA Beast on YouTube eat a few. I'm pretty excited these are coming back out, I just hope I'll be able to find them in a store nearby since I live in a pretty rural area.

EDIT: Just read that they are only being sold on their website. Maybe I should read an article fully before posting about it.

No, I don't share the affection for hot sauces and really spicy stuff that a lot of people seem to do. I like red and green tobasco sauce and that's about as hot as I'll go. The red is plenty hot for me.

Every time I go to a restaurant and ask for hot sauce and the bring me Tabasco I just want to walk out. That is vinegar with some pepper in it. There is nothing hot about it. It's even worse when they bring you the whole assortment of Tabasco sauce, as if Tabasco being green makes it taste any less shitty.

No. I like moderately hot and spicy foods from time to time, but I don't view eating as a sport. Food is to be enjoyed, not suffered though or crammed down in mass quantities to prove something to other people.

I enjoy tabasco sauce but it is in no way a hot sauce.

Now you shut your whore mouth. Tabasco is good.

The whole "spicy snobbiness" that I've noticed is kinda funny but I guess it's no different than Linux fanboys/snobs or wine snobs.

I like hot food, but that does not appeal to me.

chips with pico de gallo laced with generous porion of habanero is good, but, that looks like its just hot for the sake of being hot.

Tabasco being good doesnt make it a hot sauce.

I would like to try them, but most likely I'll just end up pissed that I only have a few of them. Their ghost chips are pretty good, but not nearly hot enough.

Reapers are hot, no doubt, I've eaten one straight. I was an idiot and did it on an empty stomach I was in pretty serious pain for two hours. But aside from that part I'd do it again.

It's as much a hot sauce as anything. It was the hottest sauce you could reliably buy before the pepper boom. You had a choice of Texas Pete, Franks, and a bunch of Tabasco wannabees. None were as hot as, or tasted as good as Tabasco.

A friend at work has a garden and this year grew some Trinidad Scorpions (considered the hottest until about 2012-2013). On a dare I ate the tiniest piece of one and almost instantly got the dry heaves (didn't know at the time that they were going to be dry...)

Agree with this part.

Squarely disagree with this part. It's the worst, but it's still a hot sauce.

Eating spicy food for sport or peppers alone just to fry my mouth is retarded. What is the point in that? That being said, I do enjoy some very spicy indian, thai, mexican etc... food. But there needs to be balance. Some places just dump the spice on drowning out the flavor of the food. Again, whats the point? I want to taste the flavor and spicy at the same time.

For the buzz. I've only once had commercial food that was prepared as hot as I like, and they've never done it since. It was an Indian place that ranks their heat on a scale of 1-10. I asked for 15 and got it. I now ask for 20, and it still isn't close. I've given up. Nothing legal beats a pepper buzz. After wiping the sweat from your head, and finishing your meal, you float on a capsaicin euphoria. Nothing better.

Yes...I love a good pepper buzz. It does burn at first but then your mouth goes a little numb and as long as you keep eating, you feel a mild euphoria. I find it goes very well with beer, the alcohol co-mingles nicely with the pepper buzz. Its one reason why I seek out spicy food and make sure to eat slowly to savor the feeling.
