Well ok, my McDonalds has been remodeled, so they posted like daily food things for $1 just like subway for $2.50... Expires September. So yeah, right now they have this thing with..

Sun=Dippin Dots
Mon=Quarter Pounder W/ Cheese
Tue=6 piece McNuggets
Wed=$1.50 Happy Meals
Thu=Sausage Muffin
Fri=Filet O Fish
Sat=Dippin Dots

Now, if there was a McDonalds near you, would you take advantage of it? Or would you feel that Supersize Me was too much and you wouldn't?

I say yes, cause quarter pounders w/ cheese is better than having double cheeseburgers... I get McDonalds like once or twice a month btw. Sometimes once every 3 months.

Personally, I don't give a care if the FDA allows it lol, even if they pay em... Cause... its worldwide, they got there for a reason.

Yeah, what's up with that?? I stopped by a McD's last summer to get ice cream cones for the kids and I thought that a caramel sundae would be nice for me. I was bummed that they don't offer those anymore.

When I lived in Santa Clarita, CA (last summer), they had em... Odd... Course, it was near the gas station near me lol. I had 2-3 right next to me.
 
Guess it's been too long since I was last in a McD's......WTF is a dipping dot??

Back to the original question posed by the OP, while I like McD's from time to time (once a quarter or so), I didn't see anything on that list that I would make a special effort to go get, even for a buck. Not that any of the other fast food restaurants around have anything better to offer.....although I do love the sausage-egg-n-cheese taquitos for breakfast at Whataburger! Mmmmm-mmmmm!!! :heart: :laugh:

PS - the only lesson you should have learned from Supersize me is don't eat 6 quarter-pounders a day. One or two once in awhile won't kill you.
 
I don't eat at McDonalds, not due to the documentary, "Super Size Me" but due to the book "Fast Food Nation". Everybody should read it, far more factual and researched than "some guy makes himself ill to prove a point".
 
Dippin dots....the ice cream of the future! Since 1994 😛

They are tiny little balls of ice cream stored in sub-zero freezers. The balls are about the size of a peppercorn. Instead of getting one big solid scoop of ice cream, you get a spoonful of these little ice cream balls.

Hard to really describe if you haven't seen them in person.

They are nothing really more than a marketing gimmic and it still hasn't caught on well. I'm actually surprised they are still in business.
