Would you send your kids to a same sex school?

Won't matter, they will turn out socially inept losers like their daddy anyways. All hail the internet addiction.
Hey, it's Saturday. Go take up golf or something instead of bitching about your internet addiction on an internet forum.

Depends on the school, i wouldn't send them to one just for the fact it was a same-sex school but if the school I wanted them to go to happened to be one, it wouldn't stop me.

Yes for girls, no for boys. My friend got sent to an all-male school and came back a homosexual. I'd rather keep my teenage daughter AWAY from as many boys as possible.
So, by that logic, your son shouldn't play sports either, right? Think about it....all those guys....running...sweating....patting each other on the ass...you do know 90% of NFL players are gay, right?

Mugsy: You're a f*cking idiot. Please promise you'll never reproduce so whatever defective gene(s) you're carrying will die with you.

Hey calm down, I was mostly joking. But don't tell me you've never heard of men resorting to homosexuality in prison. This school was like a prison, it was a sort of reform school (boarding school). My school played sports against them in high school, and they did seem to have a large number of kids with homosexual tendencies.

I'd send all of my kids to a private school. I doubt I'd consider same-sex schools.
Nope. You're still an idiot.

Does it make you feel better to say that?

I don't even need to look at the name to know it's you.

Hell, every person I've seen that came from an all-boys private school is the exact opposite - a socially inept, skirt-chasing Chester. One such individual was on the same floor as my fiancee in her first year of university. After the perv had gotten fourteen complaints lodged against him in the first week, I paid a visit, rounded up a half-dozen other male significant others, knocked on his door, and we had a "frank exchange of ideas" with him.

Was an ambulance involved? Or the homicide division? If not, you didn't do good enough.

PS If it makes you feel any better; at ~60/40 ratio, I'm still not doing any better than you 😱

No, the first visit is the warning. "Either knock this sh!t off right now, or you wake up in the trunk of a car. Got it?"

The only point of argument was whose car. We settled on a limb apiece.

I would not send my child to an all boys or all girls school. Most of my best friends in life are male, and I had a blast in elementary and high school due mainly to my boy friends. Plus, I don't see the point in all boys or all girls schools - what's up with that?

I went to all boys schools from 5-12th grade. Everyone in college thought it was weird, I thought it was normal (which it is for New Orleans). I didn't have any problem adjusting in college, nor did I (or any of my friends) have any problems with the opposite sex while in HS. I wouldn't hesitate to send my son or daughter to a same sex school if it offered the best education I could afford.

just like Werk, I went to an all-boy school in New Orleans. It's the only way to get a good education here. I'd definitely send my kids to a same sex school.

Yes.

The other cultures around the world, and ours until the 50's, had it right. School is for learning and it's obvious without hormones acting up every second causing machismo among boys and barbies among girls and all the associated problems those entail co-ed schooling interfers with thier prime directive, learning/teaching. I went to an all boys HS and learned more during that time than any other in my school career.

School is for learning, but school is also the public environment where kids spend most of their waking hours. It's foolish to have them in an abnormal social setting, no matter what they learn.

Depauw to hell, we got the bell

The school I work for is in a VERY wealthy area and these kids pay lots of money to attend. It's not prestigious compared to some of the other private schools in te area, but it beats public schools.

Anyways, yes, I would want my son/daughter to have interaction with the opposite sex.

BTW ... I'm a network admin at the school. The pay sucks but the seniors are very good looking!
