A guy at work gave me his old Honda Elite 80cc scooter. I just got it running after it had been sitting around for 10 years(woohoo!). I need to:
1)Get the title transferred to me
2)Buy plates/register it
3)Get insurance for it
4)Get a license for it

After that, I will probably leave it at my GF's place who lives in Chicago and ride it around downtown.

I AM MALE. I AM NOT AFRAID TO RIDE A SCOOTER.

Now that i have made my point clear, i have no reason not to ride a scooter. I grew up riding a moped and later a scooter.

Scooters are fun, I would ride them.. despite teh jokes some of the hottest woomen i have seen in LA are on scooters.

Go get one.. its easy to ride and easy to get around. i dont know about laws, but if its under 50 cc it probably wont require an licence (like in CA) but above 50 cc you will need an M1 licnece.
