In an isolated instance, being wrong for the right reasons is more valuable/less dangerous.

On a continuing basis, I'd take being right regardless of the reasons.
 
It really depends how important the issue is. Generally I'd rather be morally right, but if it's something that won't affect anyone, I couldn't care less - if I can get away with it.
