Obviously, none of you who vote for pirate actually are one. Otherwise L&R would be filled with posts like this:
"Arrrr, I met a wench, and I think she's really cute, and I want to hold her hand, but all I have is this hook. Need advice"
and this:
"Pole (not the mast, you landlubbers): when you fap, do you remove the hook from your arm, or leave it on. "
and:
"It's over. I just found out after 10 months she's been sleeping with the whole crew."

On the other hand, take a look at the babe thread. They're almost exclusively pictures that people have found by googling. None of you have actually met more than 1 or 2 of those females (and 99% of you have met none of them), and even then, it was just an autograph signing. If we had ninjas here, the babe thread would be "check out the 10 pictures I posted from last night. I took a lot more, but they'd get me banned."

Actually, I think I would prefer to be a buccaneer -you know, living on land and only setting out to raid passing ships. I know, I know, it seems a bit non committal or even like a lazy pirate but what can I say?
