Job yes, school no. I'd definelty sign up for some more classes, and devote some more time to my hobbies. Oh, and take vacations

i'd stay in school. maybe not my current one though. i'd use the money to make more money. this might be investing in a company and other such things.

I (and my wife) would quit work, probably doing some charity work to pass the time.

No, I'd still work here.

I'd probably buy a chunk of the company instead with most of the money.

I'd keep my job, it's like playing with grown-up legos with an unlimited budget. It even makes going home seem boring. (machine designer for theater and film special effects)

Lots of golf to be played and the whole world in which to play it. Me and my brand spankin' new Gulfstream wold go wherever I felt like.

Take me! :p

One of the first things I'd do would be to call up my 3 best golfing friends, jump on a chartered plane and head somewhere warm for a few weeks of golf :)

First thing I'd do is get a small apartment in brooklyn, buy an '83 ford Aerostar, buy a rice cooker and a stove, pots and pans, and 100,000 units of top ramen. I'd get an old couch from an empty lot in the city, steal some milk crates. I'd then go into an abandoned house and grab a matress from under some passed out crackheads, with blood/other bodily fluids, drag that ****** back to my apartment. Then when I've got my apartment the way I like it, I hookup with some chick on the street corner and bring her to a drive through chapel, get married, on the way home I grab my self a dog off the street and head home.

I'd then get my self a job at a flower stand and live the rest of my life, with my wife to which I still don't know her name....

*Bam*

I'm set for life.

Wouldn't this make an interesting documentary? Find some random average dude and give him a lump sum of money and see how it would change his life. How would he spend? What things would he do differently? Would he blow it all in a year or stretch it out and make it work for him?

If he was a smart guy, the documentary would be very boring....

Yes I would quit.
But then I would get into something that is much more voluntary. I would still need to find some satisfaction out of my life rather than just be a rich bum.

I wouldn't quit. I like my job & the people I work with. I would definately take some time off to do a bit of travelling but I would come back to work.

Yes I would definitely quit and just put all my time to developing some website ideas that I have that are coming along very slowly due to me not having that much time.

Go back to school part time for life... Learn about a culture/language, then live in the country for a year, repeat. In 20 years write a book about how much it rocked....
